Mobility Study for the Master Plan of the Educational and Sports City of San Sebastián de La Gomera.
Client: Gesplan – Gobierno de Canarias (Sanvi Consulting, 2025–2026).
Mobility study developed as a supporting document for the Master Plan, providing an integrated assessment of current and future mobility conditions within the area of influence of the educational and sports complex. The work includes the diagnosis of pedestrian, cycling, public transport and private vehicle flows, the estimation of travel demand generated by the new land uses, and the definition of sustainable mobility measures aimed at improving accessibility, road safety, traffic management and parking, ensuring a functional implementation consistent with the island’s territorial and mobility framework.

Technical Expert Report against the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS) of Ronda.
Client: Real Maestranza de Caballería de Ronda (Sanvi Consulting, 2025).
Technical expert report prepared in the context of an administrative litigation procedure against the PMUS of Ronda, based on a comprehensive review and redevelopment of the mobility model used in the plan. The work included transport demand modelling, simulation of the PMUS scenarios and alternative options without the proposed new road, analysis of modal shift, and assessment of impacts in terms of congestion, sustainability and urban coherence, providing a robust technical basis to challenge the proposed alternative road alignment.

Consultancy Technical Assistance for the Extension of Málaga Metro – Line 2 (Eugenio Gross – Blas de Lezo Section).
Client:
Dragados, Tecsa and RIALSA (Sanvi Consulting, 2025).
Specialised traffic consultancy technical assistance provided within the preparation of the bid for the underground extension of Line 2 of Metro de Málaga to Hospital Civil, along the Eugenio Gross – Blas de Lezo section. The work included a critical review of the traffic diversion study contained in the construction project, covering the technical report, the traffic and mobility appendix and the graphic documentation, identifying strengths, operational risks and opportunities for improvement. In addition, specific technical drawings and traffic microsimulations using PTV Vissim were developed for the most complex intersections in the area, in order to assess operational performance, validate the geometric and functional design of the proposed solutions, and optimise traffic management during construction works in a highly complex urban environment.

Mobility and Accessibility Study of Valladolid–Campo Grande Station and its Surroundings.
Client: SANDO, OHLA, GEOXA (Sanvi Consulting, 2025).
Specialised mobility and accessibility study developed in the context of the comprehensive refurbishment works of Valladolid–Campo Grande Station and its immediate urban surroundings. The work included the diagnosis of pedestrian and road traffic mobility, the analysis of accessibility to the different transport modes, the assessment of the impacts of construction works on daily mobility, and the definition of a phased temporary mobility strategy, ensuring the functionality of the railway node, safety, universal accessibility and compatibility with construction activities in a high-intensity traffic environment.

Mobility Demand Study for the Connection between Bulevar Adolfo Suárez and the MA-20 (Málaga).
Client: PROMÁLAGA – Ayuntamiento de Málaga (Sanvi Consulting, 2024–2025).
Mobility demand study carried out to assess the feasibility of a new road connection between Bulevar Adolfo Suárez and the MA-20 motorway. The work included the analysis of background conditions and urban and mobility constraints, the definition of the study area and design peak hours, traffic modelling of current and future scenarios (at both macro and micro levels), flow redistribution, level-of-service assessment, and the temporal and economic programming of the proposed actions, providing a robust technical basis to support decision-making regarding the new infrastructure.

Mobility and Accessibility Study of Barcelona–Sants Station and its Surroundings.
Client: SANDO, AVINTIA (Sanvi Consulting, 2024).
Comprehensive technical study focused on mobility and accessibility planning during the different construction phases at Barcelona–Sants Station and its immediate surroundings. The work included a detailed analysis of pedestrian and vehicular flows, assessment of road and pedestrian access, definition of an overall mobility strategy to minimise interference during works, and the proposal of specific measures for signage, flow management and universal accessibility. Particular emphasis was placed on intermodality and coordination with public transport services (metro, bus and taxi), providing an operational basis for the safe and efficient management of mobility throughout all construction stages.
π οΈ Critical Analysis of Ronda’s Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS) as a Basis for Appeals.
Client: Civic Association of Ronda (Sanvi Consulting, 2025).
Evaluation of Ronda’s Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS) during its public consultation phase, aiming to support objections against one of its proposals. The analysis focused on contesting the construction of a new roadway on agricultural land. A technical report was prepared to support the association's position, serving as the basis for formal appeals.

A series of macro-modeling studies for road closures and traffic diversions required for the construction of a linear infrastructure in a city in southern Spain. Urban Development Plan
π οΈ Preparation of a Study for Appeals Against a Partial Urban Development Plan. Client: Residents Affected by the PPO (Sanvi Consulting, 2024).
A mobility study and road reorganization analysis were conducted during the appeals process of a Partial Urban Development Plan (PPO) to assess its impact and propose viable alternatives. The study involved a detailed review of the PPO, along with the redesign of road layouts to prevent the demolition of residential homes affected by the initial proposal.
Additionally, a
new mobility study was carried out to analyze
accessibility and road functionality, ensuring a
technically sound solution that optimized traffic flow and improved the urban integration of the plan. This work was conducted on behalf of the
property owners affected by the PPO, providing them with a well-founded and technically feasible alternative within the appeals process.

Feasibility Study of the New Urban Public Transport System in Arcos de la Frontera
Client: City Council of Arcos de la Frontera (Sanvi Consulting, 2025)
Technical and economic feasibility study of the urban public transport system in Arcos de la Frontera, aimed at assessing operational sustainability, potential demand and the financial balance of the service. The work included the analysis of the existing network, the definition and characterisation of routes, alignments and frequencies, demand estimation, operational modelling of vehicle-kilometres, service hours and required resources, as well as a detailed cost and revenue analysis. The results provided a solid technical basis to support decision-making on the future configuration of the service and its funding model.

Sanvi Consulting has developed various proposals for public transport network reorganization in different Spanish cities, focusing on service optimization, coverage improvement, and economic feasibility. These studies have included the evaluation of reorganization scenarios, survey design to assess real demand, and strategies to enhance accessibility and operational efficiency. Additionally, economic feasibility has been analyzed, considering operating costs and potential funding sources. The methodology applied combines transport modeling, GIS analysis, and infrastructure evaluation, enabling the proposal of solutions tailored to the needs of each city.

Sanvi Consulting has developed proposals for bus fleet decarbonization projects, aiming to reduce emissions and optimize the transition to a more sustainable transport system. These studies have assessed the technical and economic feasibility of fleet electrification and the integration of clean technologies such as hydrogen, analyzing required infrastructure, vehicle autonomy, charging strategies, and integration with the existing public transport network. Additionally, the studies included an analysis of funding sources and investment models, as well as the environmental and operational benefits of zero-emission fleet implementation. A custom software solution has been explored for operational simulation, energy modeling, and life-cycle cost analysis, ensuring efficient, sustainable solutions tailored to the specific needs of each transport system.

Analysis of Remaining Capacity in Three Railway Maintenance Depots (Madrid–Vicálvaro, León and Valencia–Fuente de San Luis).
Client: Ineco – Renfe (Sanvi Consulting, 2025–2026)
Sanvi Consulting provides specialised technical assistance for the analysis of operational and remaining capacity in three Renfe railway maintenance depots, aimed at objectively characterising the actual level of use of the facilities and identifying operational constraints and available margins for the incorporation of new maintenance and stabling activities. The work combines a detailed functional analysis of the facilities and their access tracks with advanced statistical processing of operational records (train arrivals, occupancies and departures) and the graphical modelling of shunting movements and routings, enabling the identification of bottlenecks, the assessment of operational scenarios and the detection of optimisation opportunities from a technical and operational perspective.

A Risk Analysis Study based on the Common Safety Method for Risk Evaluation and Assessment (CMS-ER) was conducted to analyze risks in railway infrastructure (File 402). The study included the identification and evaluation of hazards, impact assessment, and mitigation measures proposal to ensure safety throughout all project phases.
Additionally, a safety management system was designed in compliance with international regulations, ensuring regulatory alignment and optimization of risk prevention strategies.

Data Analysis
π Traffic Data Analysis and Modeling for a Railway Operator. Team's previous experience (2014-2021).
A comprehensive analysis of ticketing data for a railway operator was carried out, processing information on entries and exits across the network. A data model was developed, where each trip was anonymized and aggregated in 15-minute intervals, allowing the identification of mobility patterns throughout the day, week, and year.
As part of the study, an interactive dashboard was designed to represent passenger loads per line and direction, facilitating operational and strategic service analysis. Additionally, the use of different prepaid card types was evaluated, providing insights into travel habits and user segmentation.
Railway Infrastructure Design
π Functional and Technical Analysis of Stations, Facilities, and Equipment in Railway Systems. Team's previous experience (2005-2021).
Multiple functional studies on railway and light metro infrastructure were conducted, addressing design, construction, and operation of stations, facilities, and equipment. A total of 15 underground Light Metro stations were analyzed, defining key aspects such as access points, ticket validation, staircases, elevators, wayfinding signage, and technical rooms.
Additionally, studies were conducted for the
expansion of metro lines and the
definition of equipment and facility requirements in
light metro and tram systems, supervising critical elements such as
railway signaling, power supply, communications, track infrastructure, electromechanical systems, and depot facilities. These analyses were fundamental to ensuring the
operability, safety, and efficiency of transport systems.

This study analyzed various road safety plans in Spain from 2000 onwards, covering national, regional, and local levels. It also examined the implementation degree of "Safe Systems" and "Vision Zero" strategies in Spain.

These studies aimed to reduce the likelihood and severity of incidents and accidents between cars and trams at multiple intersections in a Spanish city.
